Just got rejected by Empire Flippers today but the good news is that they refunded me the $300 it took to list but it looks like not all sites are welcomed there so don't waste your time with them honestly.

Unfortunately, the success rate isn't there on Flippa but it's my only option right now and I'm going to have my site listed on there today since I got that $300 back. I'm not interested in the auction option because I can see my site not getting sold for the money I want for it. The problem is I think there's a realistic possibility that a site on a fixed price will take a long-time to sell if at all on there.

    What do you guys think?

I sold few site on flippa, so yes, is possible. I always sold for fixed price, but you should be realistic and keep in mind buyers are looking for either bargains or highly profitable site. Which one you have? :)

Thanks for the quick answer, I was definitely thinking of doing a fixed price. How long did it take to get your site sold on there?

Very true about the buyers not sure if they'll find a bargain from me but the site is highly profitable and connected with Google Shopping Ads so they got a good package here.

That's great it sounds like Flippa isn't as bad as some people make it out to be at times. With Empire Flipper, I'm wondering the same question as the site isn't shady it was actually earning decent revenue every month. I'm surprised they rejected it honestly. It sells digital products and had made $21k in revenue for over 6 months.

My concern with my site is that I don't want to sell it for cheap I'm hoping for around $100k, do you think that's doable?

List it on Flippa. Do an auction for 5-7 days to test it out. Make sure you have your min reserve. Do the premium plan to get more views and stand out. Also promote the listing on your social media.

It’s possible on flippant! Many years ago I brought a site from flippa of good quality it just depends what the site is. Remember people want to see income reports traffic stats and all types of verifications

UPDATE: I heard back from Empire Flippers and it looks like I was too early, they require sites to be earning for at least 12 months. Mines was at 6 months so I gotta wait until February but I already put my listing on Flippa so we'll see how that goes.

I actually just listed on Flippa a few hours ago with the premium plan of $200 and got an assistant for $15 a month so I came out under a $100 from EF's price. Unfortunately, I have no social media presence never was really good at that stuff except for YouTube but I don't run a channel around my business it's for other stuff.

Yeah I wanted to make sure I provide all of that stuff to them, I connected my Google Analytics and I have sale numbers on my dashboard.

@PredatorKingdom why not sell it here? I have seen lots of people sell sites rather quickly here.

Was going to suggest just that but 100k is a lot of money.

I would wait another 6 months and sell it on EF.
On flippa you'll have to sell it for way less or no sell it at all.

The 100K is a bit high for only a website.

Normal businesses sell for 3 times yearly earnings

So make your website into a normal business.

    Try this.

Go to ScribD and get books on building business credit.

    Incorporate your business
    Get an EIN
    Get a business bank account
Get a merchant account and hook it to the business bank account
Install Woocommerce and hook it to the merchant account
Get a few thousand in niche products and put them in the cart
Get a virtual office THAT DOES NOT SAY VIRTUAL OFFICE WHEN YOU GOOGLE IT
Get a business license tied to your office address
Apply for a DUNS number using your office address.
Go to creditboards websites and find the best companies to establish credit lines with (Uline, Quill, etc)
Make $100 a month purchases with each company. In 3 months or so they will report to DUNS. You have established credit lines.

You now have a "real" business with bank account and credit lines. Do NOT get personal credit lines ties to your business. You must NOT have a personal guarantee on any of your lines.

You can then sell the whole thing as a package.

No one else on flippa will have anything similar.

    Sincerely,

    TheEye

Great idea I actually know of the marketplace here but forgot about it. I'd probably actually do better selling it on here than Flippa. Damn wish I didn't spend the money on Flippa but I still got that $100 left over from EF so I might signup to this site's marketplace.

The only thing I need to know is does the marketplace on here have high paying buyers though?

My assistant on Flippa suggested I cut the price down to $61k at a 3x multiplier from the $21k in revenue it was making. $61k is fine I just refuse to sell the site for below $50k because I'm trying to buy 2-3 years out of it so I can focus on my other businesses.

I would wait 6 months for Empire Flippers but the problem is I need the money before the fall and I don't think I'm gonna have much time to run the site for another 6 months so the timing is better now than February for me.

That's the one suspicion I have with Flippa is how long these sites tend to sit on there that aren't cheap. I'm not doing their auction though that's for sure. Would I have a better chance of selling it for $60k on this site's marketplace than Flippa? I'm willing to pay the $100 to the marketplace if it sells better on here.

I appreciate the advice, I'll actually use this template when I buy my LLC. Part of selling my business will fund the LLC so I can sell another business within a year or two.

UPDATE: My site is now live on Flippa under Premium Ads I had to trim the price down to $61k which is still enough to satisfy me. So far there's 93 views and 2 watchers in just a few hours from going live. Hopefully, that's good momentum to get a sale within the next week.

I believe if you pay the fee you will automatically become a Jr VIP level.

Does anybody know a great alternative to Flippa, Empire Flippers, and FE International? I would do the marketplace on here but the interests in people buying sites on here especially a premium site seemed rather low.

I just know one other but its for agency web businesses only at AgencyFlip.com. Maybe there are other niche ones out there.

Thanks for suggesting that site but it looks like it's only for digital marketing agencies at least there's a site option for people in those niches. I wish there was one out there for e-commerce sites I know there's one out there for Shopify stores only.

Somebody told me to try businessforsale.com and my listing is up on there as of today so I'm going to see how that goes as they got a free trial for 20 days so I don't have to pay for 3 weeks to have my listing up on that site.

i'm searching for good online businesses to buy, but empireflippers is too expensive and on exchange + flippers are mostly shitty sites with no more profit.

i found one guy who is asking for 1800 dollars for a simple golf website, labled and everything. But 1800 dollars? why is this "high quality handpicked" offer ? i cant understand it...

the domain is golforo com (i am trying to get 15 posts to ask someone and post links sorry)
the site is: exchangemarketplace.com - on the first page

    is this 1800 dollars worth?
