So i am planning to buy few videos using freelance sites, therefore i was wondering is it possible for the freelancer to take action against or delete my video on youtube? If so are there any preventive measures against it?

If that video is already published on any other youtube channel then the original uploader of that channel can send you the copyright strike even if 100% of that video or even a 10% of that video is theirs. So you have to make sure that the freelance video editor is providing you a 100% fresh and original video. If that freelancer is using reused content in your videos then you can receive a copyright strike.

thanks but is youtube copyright check during upload enough to find whether there is a published video

Yes, when you upload a video youtube checks whether it has a plagiarized or reused content. It will warn you before you hit the publish button.

Since I create only original videos myself with my team for my youtube channel, my videos always come clean at the time of uploading. So I never pay attention to this feature. Now when you asked it I realized that this feature also exist and it can help you.

Do try it and let us know the outcome.
