Is it ok to use short url for backlinks?

Hi guys. If I have a backlink on a fb comment, as an example, and it is not example.com/product-example but it is posted with the short form like bitly type, has any kind of difference? or any meaning in seo and things? or is it the same shit?
And not only fb, or blog comment or you name it.. anywhere.

Check the redirection method of the link. if it is 301, so it's ok. Otherwise you have to not use short links.
Totally it's better to use your main link, however if you use a short link which be redirected by 301 method, it is also ok.
