I am targeting viewers in another country using sim and 4g mobile proxy. Yesterday I uploaded a video straight from camera roll instead of my usual method from capcut and it got 0 views. Is it ok to delete this video from tiktok as I heard that you shouldn’t?

Deleting a TikTok video with 0 views isn’t a big deal, but if you do it too often, it might mess with your account’s engagement signals. TikTok's algorithm sometimes takes time to push a video, so if it's not shadowbanned, you might want to leave it up for at least 48 hours before deciding. Also, if you're targeting another country with a SIM and 4G mobile proxy, make sure your content is optimized for that audience engagement patterns matter.

Just checked my account and the video seems to have violated community guidelines but there is nothing at all bad in it so have deleted it. I am not sure what the problem is and why they have done this.

Just hide this video, change the privacy settings

that's odd. If there was nothing unusual in the video, it might be TikTok's automated moderation flagging it incorrectly. Sometimes, certain upload methods or metadata can trigger a review. If you’re using a different device or a new IP, that could also play a role. Have you tried re-uploading it with a slight edit to see if it sticks?

It was a clip from a love song that is already on tiktok many times. They said it violated their community guidelines for hate speech which makes absolutely no sense at all as the two things are completely the opposite. I tried uploading the video yesterday direct from camera roll instead of my usual method though capcut and it got 0 views so removed it and made a couple of changes and then got this today when I uploaded it.

That's weird, TikTok's moderation system can sometimes be inconsistent, especially with content that has been uploaded multiple times by different users. If it's flagging a love song clip as hate speech, it's likely an AI moderation issue rather than a manual review.

Since you uploaded it directly from your camera roll instead of using CapCut, TikTok might have detected different metadata, which could explain the 0 views. Try re-uploading with slight changes modify the video length slightly, adjust colors, or add an additional overlay.

Also, since you're using a 4G mobile proxy, ensure your IP remains stable during uploads. TikTok’s algorithm can sometimes limit reach if it detects frequent IP changes or inconsistencies in account behavior. Keeping a consistent mobile IP might help prevent unnecessary flags.

yeah you can remove the video but is really weid that perform bad and the other still doing good, I don't think that is because is Iphone maybe goes through a manual verification is uploaded directly from the camera than going first through capcut.

You can delete the video without problems.

If it's got 0 views son then why does it matter ? That's like asking if you need to use a plunger to suck out a non existent dent in your car, smile now!

Getting 0 views on a video does not mean anything. It is just telling you to product a more quality one. Deleting your videos when they get 0 view will mess up your account

Yes, deleting a TikTok video with 0 views isn’t a major issue. But doing it too often can disrupt your account’s engagement metrics (the algorithm sometimes takes time to distribute content, so unless you're certain the video is shadowbanned, it's best to wait at least a day.)
Before considering deletion, try re-uploading with slight modifications.
I think it was uploading the video from the camera roll that made the difference. Just make minor edits and try re-upload.

Hide it, so you don't even need to overthink about potential issues caused by deleting videos

yes you can delete the video or hide it

Deleting a video with 0 views is fine, but please delete it after 1-2 days. In the meantime, to prevent others from seeing the video, you can set it to private for only me.

Have you tried using trending hashtags and popular sounds to attract viewers?
