Is it normal I need 1 new backlink every day?

Hi guys, after more than 2 years I've discovered that all my sites need 1 new backlink every single day to maintain the position in google (maintain NOT grow up).

Links in bulk have not any effects.

Tried several experiments in these 2 years, tried to not place a link for 7/10 days and every time I had not placed backlinks for 7/10 days I had always lost 5/8 positions. Placed new links and sites gone up.

Is it normal a situation like this? It is crazy I need 1 link every single day.

Read many posts on BHW where people order (example) posts from a PBN owner and they are ok for weeks, months. If I stay weeks or months without new backlinks my sites lost (at least) 15/20 positions.

Crazy guys, I don't really know what to do because I can not maintain this amount of backlinks on daily basis.

@DubaiClub in my experience it is not normal. If a site reaches top 5 then ususally it stays there for a long time. Then in order to reach #1 more links are needed from #5 of course. Then it can still fluctuate a bit but would stay in top 5 by itself.

Then I may need to send more links once in a while just to balance link attrition and to send some signals of aliveness.

So in your case I would not think it is normal, but it will depend on your niche and the kind of links you get.

That depends on the niche and the kind of content you're publishing on your site. Breaking into the top 5 is very difficult in most niches now.
