I'm currently using Keysearch. Serves me pretty well so far, until lately, some keywords seemed to nose dive. Thought it was another Google algo update. Until I double check using a free tool at smallseotools.com. Some of the keywords that dived in keysearch appeared normal on the free tool. A normal google results search also proves that the free tool is more correct. Other keywords on Keysearch are not affected..

Is this normal, or should I start submitting a ticket?

Any advice?

Every tool has a different method/algorithm to determine KW volume and difficulty.

Your best bet is to test the tool out over the course of numerous articles, and see if you start ranking.

Stick to 1 tool only and run with it.

For me personally, Ahrefs gives different KW SV/Difficulty from KW Finder, and I found KW Finder to be more accurate in terms of ranking faster and Ahrefs a little bit off.

Thanks for the replies guys. Appreciated!

Can't imagine paying for Ahrefs, Semrush and Moz at the same time. Lol..

It is a normal practice to use 2 or more to gauge more information. However, it won't hurt if you can only afford one at the moment. :)
