Hello everyone,

I have been quite busy the last few months. For those who remember me: i've sold all of my niche websites last may/juni and i completely focused on my own 'make money online' product. As i told in my previous topic, this launch quite failed and i've learned a lot lessons in this proces.

Now, a few months later i've done a 'relaunch' and earned 2500 euro in one night (this was half a month ago). Of course, this is a very good number and a lot of people would be jealous to make this money in one night.

I'm also quite happy with it. But i don't completely focus on my own product anymore, since i'm building a few authority sites also. In the long run i think they're going to make a lot of money.

But as i did my re-launch i've been thinking a lot about where i want to go and where i'm headed.

When you look around in the IM world you see a lot of people doing launches of XXXXXX dollars and that's where i want to go.

I have had several Skype sessions with IM gurus to coach me. They all tell me i can learn to earn a six figure income in IM and i believe they can learn me that. It's just that they are very expensive and that's understandable. They are proven IM coaches and know how to make serious money online.

It's just that when there is so much free information online (in BHW and other forums, sites), is it necessary to learn this from a coach?

What do you guys think and what do you recommend?

I invested 2K in a training program a year ago, but this was not personal coaching, and - to be honest - not worth the 2K.

Thanks!

Personal Coaching in IM, never heard of it.

BTW, the simple answer to your question, you need a IM Coach?

FCUK NO

Personal opinion:

There are lots of people who learn from coaches, but there are also people who would want to learn on their own.
By following journey threads, I myself am learning while im following their footsteps.
If you have the money to invest on a coach who can motivate you to make money online, why not? You would be making more than you paid them right?
If not, just stick to a method of yours and show them that you can be the coach of yourself.
Coach are people who motivates you in times when you really do not want to do it anymore or you feel very bored because the results you're expecting is not hitting the mark.

Coaches can accelerate your learning curve if you are able to find someone who is looking after your interests, not just trying to fill their pockets. In my experience a lot of coaches are frauds who "know how to talk" (they don't have to speak the truth, they only need you to believe their story) about subject X, but actually haven't succeeded at it (poker coaches for example).

Coaching is a waste of money and time, learn how to rank site, learn seo and do it yourself.

Of course you don't. Those people just want to exploit you and scam you. The real knowledge is expensive and people don't really want to share it.

~3 years ago I was googling, trying to find some Facebook tool or something. I found BHW on the search engine. I was browsing it and I really like it. I started reading it 24/7 and have learned MANY things. I wasn't even 18 at that time, but now I know a lot and thank God, I earn a lot. There are still people who earn 1000 times more than me, but I am satisfied with my earnings, my knowledge and everything is well.

If you want to learn, then just read.

Nahhh.. BHW and the odd blogger should be all the coaching you need in order to succeed.

There is no reliable SEO coaching unless you REALLY know the person(is your brother, for example).

ANY effective SEO technique is worth $thousands, why would anyone teach it for 100, 200 bucks? I say no to coaching.

Just try and meet some decent people who are into all this.I got lucky and met a genuine guy with a lot of experience.not to be spoonfed,he just gave me some pointers on things i was trying and i learned quicker. It is hard to meet decent people though.most people are naturally defensive and probably think you are just after there methods, which is understandable

Guru's having several skype sessions with one noob?

"Guru's" earn money by manipulating noobs because they can't hack it in the real IM business themselves. Don't be a victim. You can become a top IM'er without paying for knowledge. Read this forum, search for free ebooks, watch youtube videos about the technical aspects of this business and you'll good to go.

A coach? no.
A friend that you can ask question every now and then? A must.

I have made many good friends in IM and I think I can ask them questions when they are on Skype. A friend or bud in IM is good, but I really don't think a coach is needed. Most of the people who claim they are gurus are just trying to manipulate you, just like most are saying in this thread.

call it coach, call it a friend, call it a partner, call it anything you want but it's always easier to do ANYTHING well when you deliberately put yourself to a position where you're surrounded by people who are more successful and hard-working than you.

Coaching and mentoring, almost sounds like you have wandered over from the Warrior Forurm. Your whole assumption is predicated on their being some magic bullet or golden rules. In fact IM is about identifying and catching the next wave and that requires preparation and persistence. So you answered your own question and no you don't need a coach.

you really think some one is managing to make 6 digit numbers ans is coaching a newbe for peanuts ? always use your own brain.

Thanks for all the responses guys! Really appreciate it.

I think it's indeed a waste of money to have a coach. It was exactly my reason not to have a coach, because all information can be found online.
I will be working on a new low end product now, and launch it when my high end product is ready. I think that's a good thing to do and to make a nice amount of money.

Thanks again!

Completely unnecessary. I learned everything from scratch. I had no one to coach me or tell me what to do. Most successful people today didn't need "coaches" to help them get to where they are. Did Steve Jobs have a guru? Who coached Bill Gates when he dropped out? That's right - they were on their own.

Having a coach is a luxury. If you can find a reputable person to teach you, it would be great, but that's hard to find because successful IM's would rather make money than teach and get paid less than they would make from just IM.
