Is it necessary to build backlinks?

Backlinks help chase your competitors and improve your ranking on SERP. As a New website, you must concentrate on On-page optimization and write user intent articles, and index them. After this process goes fine, you can turn to building links to your site.

Great job writing those 20-25 articles. First, turn on indexing so google can find your website. After that building backlinks slowly. They help your site grow and show up better in search.

Hi dear friend, I have created a website and have already published 20 to 25 articles on it. However, I haven't built any backlinks yet, nor have I allowed indexing. Should I start building backlinks now?
First allow indexing bro, let Google crawl your content, then slowly start building backlinks for better results.

Since you've already published 20–25 articles but haven't allowed indexing yet, it's best to enable indexing first before starting to build backlinks. Search engines need to be able to crawl and index your content so it can appear in search results. Once indexing is enabled and your pages are being discovered, then start building backlinks to improve authority and rankings. Backlinks will only be effective if search engines can actually access and rank your content. So, indexing comes first—then backlinks.

Start by allowing indexing-backlinks won't help if google can't see your site. Once you're indexed, you can gradually begin building quality links to boost rankings.

Backlinks are important for your indexing as well as for authority, But focus on quality instead of quantity

Backlinks are important for your indexing as well as for authority, But focus on quality instead of quantity
Backlinks are crucial for improving a website’s search engine indexing and authority. However, instead of focusing on getting a large number of backlinks, it’s more effective to prioritize high-quality backlinks from reputable and relevant sources. Quality backlinks have a stronger impact on rankings and credibility than a high quantity of low-quality links.

To maximize SEO effectiveness, first ensure your posts are indexed by search engines. You can speed up indexing by using the Google Cloud Console API and the "Instant Indexing for Google" plugin. Once your content is indexed, focus on slow and steady link-building from high-quality, relevant websites to improve rankings without risking spam penalties.

Hi! Since your site isn’t indexed yet, focus first on allowing indexing so search engines can find your content. Once it's indexed, you can start building backlinks to boost visibility and rankings.
Since your website isn’t indexed yet, the first priority should be allowing search engines to crawl and index your content. Without indexing, your pages won’t appear in search results, making backlinks ineffective at this stage.

Once your site is indexed, you can begin strategic backlink building from relevant, high-quality sources to improve visibility and rankings.

Key Steps:

  1. Check Indexing Status – Use Google Search Console to see if your pages are indexed.
  2. Fix Indexing Issues – Submit your sitemap, remove "noindex" tags, and ensure crawlability.
  3. Speed Up Indexing – Use tools like the Google Indexing API or request indexing manually.
  4. Build Backlinks Later – After indexing, focus on quality backlinks for SEO growth.

First allow indexing bro, let Google crawl your content, then slowly start building backlinks for better results.
Step 1: Allow Indexing First → Make sure Google can crawl and index your site (check in Google Search Console).
Step 2: Then Build Backlinks → Once indexed, slowly get high-quality backlinks for long-term ranking boosts.

Quick Fix: If indexing is slow, use Google’s Indexing API or submit URLs manually in Search Console.

Not yet. First, allow indexing so search engines can crawl your site. Once indexed, then start building backlinks to boost visibility and rankings.

From my experience, it is not a good idea to jump into building backlinks right away. I always tell my clients - focus on the content first. There should be at least 20-25 high-quality, informative and user-intention-oriented articles. Because if the foundation of the site is not strong, then no matter how many backlinks you build, Google will not keep it. If you build a good foundation, Google will see the site as a 'good signal' - and then the backlinks will reveal its true value.

So I would say, focus on the content first, then fix the technical aspects and move on to the off-page step by step.
