it receives a ton of views a day or two after it is first uploaded?

or would that matter? Just wondering if I need to take down a video and reupload before I start working some promotions on it

If your video gets enough views to get the charts the first 72 hours after upload, it is very likely for it to go viral. I have perfect examples of that
