to work for a adult site where u go on CL and post as an escort, and then when horny guys email u , u refer them to a site where it clearly says what they are paying for but they are NOT getting a escort.

I would think so. If it says they are paying for an escort and they pay and get nothing that would probably be illegal.

This is a tactic used by MANY MANY MANY e-whores. There are a couple sites, that actualy do promote escorts but they give them a membership to a porn site included in there trial fee or whatever.

There is 1 particular *gentleman* who trained many affiliates to sell this way, and told them to act like if they bought a show they would hook up with them..

Legal yes..ethical no

The customer can clearly see what we see on the sign up page if he chooses to sign up then he agreed to the terms and conditions.

Now if there was nothing saying that he will be getting porn, then yeah thats misleading and can be investigated.

On the legal side of things, I have a friend who works for the State Attorney Generals office and I questioned him about the legality of e-hoeing when I started. What he told me was that if we have rights to the content of the site (as affiliates we do) and we are not actualy meeting with customers then it is perfectly legal as long as the site follows 2257 compliance and has the payment terms clearly marked.

Also I want to point out here that I know ALOT of police officers that e-hoe as a way to catch em with their pants (or panties) down , There is a division of the FBI that deals with kiddie porn and they are known to frequent the same places we do..So by having them sign up to the site before they are released a phone number to contact is what alot of escorts are preferring these days.

Again, Its all legal...It depends on your sense of morality wether you agree or disagree with the business..but I will say that the not so ethical seller will eventualy have karma bite them in the ass!

You should be fine as long as there is clear and accessible place to read all the payment terms and conditions. Now if you are iframing and are only using part of the page and it leaves out the terms section or you have that hidden, then in theory you could get in trouble with that.

No i am iframing.... with the TOS intact.. infact I have lost some sales... because some guys .. did read the TOS..lol
