Is it just me

Meta feels more sensitive to sudden changes now.
Gradual budget increases and fewer edits seem to reduce reviews.

not just you at all. meta has been a nightmare since late last year. i run pretty clean offers and still get random reviews out of nowhere. backups are basically mandatory now, treating it like one account = one business is just asking to lose everything overnight

You’re definitely not alone - many advertisers are experiencing stricter reviews as Meta continues refining its risk systems. The safest way to adapt is to build accounts gradually with consistent, policy-compliant activity and realistic scaling. Moving too quickly with new setups can sometimes trigger additional reviews, so focusing on stability, transparency, and steady growth is usually a more sustainable approach.

Is it just me, or is running FB and IG ads now more about risk management than scaling?
Accounts get approved but barely spend, campaigns run smoothly for 2 days, then suddenly hit review. I have clean BM, no violations but yet random risk checks still appear.
How are u adapting?
Personally, I’ve also noticed that running ads on Facebook and Instagram nowadays is much more about risk management than it used to be.

In many cases this happens with newer advertising accounts. Facebook’s systems are very sensitive to unusual or automated-looking activity, so new accounts can sometimes get restricted more easily. Even legitimate users may run into this if the system detects behavior that seems inconsistent. Keeping normal activity patterns and gradually building account history usually helps reduce the risk.

It's a common error, you're not alone. Meta's random scanning is due to constant algorithm updates, so it's normal for clean accounts to still be at risk.

Meta has switched to an AI-powered review system, where algorithms continuously assess account reliability, advertising spending behavior, ad content, payment history, and campaign "anomalies." Therefore, campaign reviews are quite normal for any advertiser.
