Is it illegal to write a book on teaching people how to avoid taxes?

I'm just using this as an example to a larger concept; I'm not actually writing a book like this, I'm just curious as to the bounds of the law.

If its about using deductions and loopholes,then it would be considered tax planning(legal) and not tax evasion(illegal).But if its about how to hide money,so you don't have to pay taxes then it would be encouraging tax evasion.

Looks like there is a couple books of this sort so I guess it depends on your approach. It it's all legal and within the law, then I suppose it would be okay.

anyways, if you were going to make it into an ebook... I'm not sure I would let the whole public buy it.

I'd consider having it in a sub section though so it's not visible to so many people.

Yes BUT only because he sold a copy to a deputy in a certain county. In his state (colorado I think?) and most states and counties it is not illegal; that's how they got him and it took them a long time to figure out that loophole.

Conspiracy, IMO, takes more than writing a book. It takes actual human planning and interaction to plan something out. Selling a book isn't on that level.

Free speech laws/protections are pretty strong in the US.
