Is it illegal to use VPN in Belgium?

Hi All! Hope you guys are doing well.

i was on a call with a friend who recently migrated to Belgium, he was telling me that its illegal to use VPN there.

So I'm just curious, is it really true? Anyone from Belgium who can confirm this , as i think its just a rumour among immigrants or something.

I searched Google and asked chatgpt but its giving some confusing results.

I don't think so, in all EU it's legal.
