Hello,

I currently made a site which updates through rss feeds form many other sites. The site does not host any kind of files that are warez or even host pictures of the software.

They are mostly games, operating systems [mac/windows activators and iso], softwares [antivirus, game engines, 3d programs], wp themes nulled, Playstation games, and other assets.

I am not hosting anything on my site or even uploading the files to other file sharing sites. It's all based on other sites content. is it a trouble running a site like that ?

I am already on a offshore hosting who ignores DMCA.

My domain is on godaddy, can I know is it safe ?

Depends really where your hosting is physically located, that's why the debate with TPB has been going on because the Swedish law allows linking but not hosting (or did they allow even that, can't recall). If you're with host that wipes their ass with DMCA requests then you're most likely good to go on that half.

But getting your domain from GoDaddy is a shitty idea. They down your domain the instant they receive any kind of complaint, from spam to warez.

I saw that the famous software sharing site [cgpersia.com] had their somain registred on godaddy. Any ideas where I can transfer it to ? I have fake PayPal accounts, and RDP to work with.

I don't know the ins and outs, especially as it is different with each country, but whether or not it is, if a massive label wants to shut you down and or prosecute, I'm sure their extensive legal team would win. Just ask yourself, is it worth the risk?
It's a debatable subject, but I would err on the side of caution.

OP, you can never be sure. If you are that concerned then it is not the right niche for you

Yes it is illegal, many sites have been taken down for linking.

There are better resources if you search.

Still not sure why people ask about the legality of something AFTER creating the site and investing time etc.
.

if the copyright holder want to make a big deal or example of you, expect a world of hurt

Yeah what W130SN said. The people that run TPB for example are extremely skilled in jail avoidance. They had a huge plan of how they would get away with it and if it wasn't for that, they would be loose butt hole.

I see many small sites running like heroturko, cgperisa, nosteam, memory psp [which are big] and many little sites for wordpress themes, windows ISO, software and much more running linking the same way i do.

Is it bad ?

Only YOU can judge your risk tolerance. People take risks because they judge the rewards to be worth it.
Make yourself aware of the possible consequences of any outcome, then do what you feel comfortable with.
Nobody else can make that call.

Depends where you live, doesn't it? If you're inside of the US and you're linking warez then yeah, it's pretty much illegal in all 50 states.

See this : time.com/2804948/pirate-bay-peter-sunde-arrested/

The charges against the site were first filed by Swedish film and music companies.

Does the above sentence means piratebay founders were arrested/fined mostly because they hosted movies and musics ??

I am not gonna share/link/host any of it....

I have also read in someplaces where they tell that if you respond to all dmca takedown notices then you are save :O

look man, if you want to deal with big production movies, shows, games and apps then there will be a Big risk.
If you want to deal with movie trailer, wp themes, music , pdf books , short movies ,etc then risk will be low competitively.
But risk is always there in Warez
