Is It Hypocrisy to Use AdBlock If You Run AdSense?

I don't think it's hypocrisy, it's up to you whether or not you want to see ads.

As a marketer, I never used adblock, because I want to see what other people are doing, what they advertise, ad copies, landing pages and so on. With that said, I think it's a mistake for marketers to use adblock, because you can learn a lot by seeing other people's ads.

AdBlock is extremely helpful when trying to do something like stream videos on couchtuner or other free streaming site, and I think it's ridiculous to care about this. I mean, as long as you're not promoting the use of Adblock then who cares? I'm not sure how popular the extension is but I don't think it's THAT popular yet.. besides, the worry isn't when webmasters use it, it's when the average website viewer is using it. I don't click ads on other people's websites, not because I am a dick but because I have trained myself to ignore ads since I was 12 years old.

I do not consider it as wrong or something, I'm doing the same and I hate some websites with their big adverts in their header.

If the ads are creating a problem for you and your slow machine, use adblock and make things work for yourself. But if you are working in IM, it doesn't really make sense to block ads, because you're isolating yourself from the world you're working in. Seeing ads on other sites helps you keep in touch with what currently works best - you can see what type of ads your competitors are using and you can copy what might work for you since AdSense is not the only option out there and can be combined with other networks or ways to monetize your site.
