Well I searched a little through BHW and I haven't found answer on this question yet.

First questions is if Google's spider may read JavaScript or just HTML? and if google's spider may read javascript, will google index my page? I'm just wondering if a Content Locker will let google's spider to access the page.
Let's say I have a content locker with 100% opacity so user can't see what's behind the content locker therefore he can't access the site until offer is completed.
Now, when google's spider visit the page I'm curious if it's possible to access the site by google's spider and read the articles, keywords, images and so on behind the locker.
And last question is; how hard is to rank page with content locker? are there any penalties for having content locker?
thank you.

Well, I have a blogger blog ranking #1 with content gateway installed(not in the home page) so there is no problem, but I'm not sure what would happen if we have the gateway in the home page. Anyway that's a bad idea.

I put a leadbolt locker on one of my sites and immediately saw huge drops in ranking, when I took it off again it went back to where it was. Hope this helps.

I really doubt that..can you please put it back and check once again?:p

Contact locker in the home page or the internal page?

I'm using leadbolt, and currently the content lock is on the homepage.
I've noticed some drops in ranking, so I would like to put the lock on one of the internal pages.
How can I add the code to just one category of my website, and not everything?

that's what I needed to know! Thank you guys. I'm gonna edit my page right now :)

Check out this thread I created long ago about search engines hating content lockers :

Thank you for this link. I'm now 100% sure that google hates content lockers so I'm gonna remove content locker from my homepage :)
