Is it hard to increase engagement?

I'm buying a 25k account for 50 pounds right now. It seems fairly cheap. However the account's engagement is only 2.5% and the account isn't botted.

I'm not planning on botting with this account and would like to use a natural approach of growing the account and increasing the engagement. At first glance I don't think the current owner's posts are that good nor the post description. They aren't using many call to actions, etc.

So once an account engagement gets as low as 2.5% is the account doomed and eaten by IG algorithm or can it be fixed with some work?

yes, 50$ is cheap for a 25k account.

To increase engagement I would:
- repost content that usually get more than average engagement
- add CTA captions
- if you bot, follow only engaging people that like and comment
- use engagement groups

50 for a 25k account is nearly impossible, i suggest to take a closer look at the stats cause i smell fake followers

It is fixable since you have an advantage on the volume. You paid the price equivalent to its audience quality so you need to get actual people to follow you too. Clear up some of the existing content you don't want and start what you had in mind. You might want to consider botting for a while just to give you a boost.
