Is it Good to use Google redirect links to increase website DR ?

HI,

I have website with DA/DR 20, I saw that some people can increase website DA/DR with the help of google redirect links.
is it good practice ?
is it safe for money site ?
any way of getting penalty from google ?

I wouldn't use it on long-term money site.

Can you share or at least talk about one specific example?
 
I have used them couple of times. It does not give any impact in ranking but DA/DR surely goes up
 
I won't help you anywhere outside the metrics,
your ranking wouldn't even change, so why the bother? :)
 
@RajeevTM Don't do it. Those are third party metrics that no one gives a fuck about. Your backlink profile will look horrible in case you plan on selling the site later on. It won't have any impact on your rankings either. Some dishonest sellers use these tactics to inflate metrics while selling PBN posts.
 
Totally agree with @tiiberius, not a good idea for a long term project.

But if you want to sell guest posts then go ahead but any decent seo expert will know you manipulated the metrics.
 
Move on from this trick. Not a good thing for a website that you built with passion and dedication.
 
Haha I did it while back when I was learning - wow your DA shoots straight up, it goes down over time and has NO impact on your rankings. Any one will know you did it, and you won't be able to sell your money site for a profit in future!
 
Maybe it's useful for small sites that don't want to get their easy keywords taken away from stronger websites. So if people sort by da pa they don't show up as weak and easily one upped.

Even after using it for a few times i did not observe any changes
 
This has since been fixed, no manipulation will work for increasing DR

It’s not entirely uselsss, I know many adult webmasters with big traffic and Alexa ranks using the manipulation for selling links/blogposts.
