interested in giving this a go - anyone else tried it? In terms of time, is it mainly about having Google register the links...but not for too long (as dont want Google visiting a non existent site)?

How about 301ing a domain with decent authority to the unregistered domain prior to registration - would that have any / similar impact @BassTrackerBoats ?

Never heard of this strategy.
But you just blast? Or blast + index?
So essentially the crawler will be getting a lot of 105, which essentially means... that link must be mistakenly written
But there can always be hole/bug in google crawler? Very weird

It's not a good idea to that. Backlinks are like votes for Google, when your post has not been indexed how you can get Backlinks automatically. So, it will feel unreal and you get hit ultimately.

But if you have got a good budget and doing well with your other business, you can do that for the sake of testing and share your experience here for the community.
This is my own thought may be I will do that in the near future.

That is not sarcastic at all but a strategy I use on brand new domains.

Before I register it I hit it hard with all kind of backlinks.

Google does not penalize a domain that is not registered.

It wouldn't lead to instant results on fresh domains but may work out at a faster pace on expired domains.

Pardon my ignorance here but how do you blast links to a domain that is not registered? ... or did you mean you register a domain and blast it before you host it?

Can you reveal more on how the process is like?
Blast them with GSA SER?
Blast them with RankerX?
Blast them with all my PBN sites?
All in one day? Then wait 1 month before registering it?
Also do I only use brand and naked anchors?

Ok weird trick. Checked it back and found some articles about it. But i still cant believe that its not fake. Normally i would say that this is scam, now i am confused. How do i check backlinks, arent they all dead with 404 and useless, until i register it and then it got which effect? Faster ranking, more solid ranking?

Just drip feed the indexing
Most of them won't get indexed even after years, especially the web 2.0's as they're not linked/interlinked anywhere
Unless you make a 2nd tier for indexing (blog comments for example)
