Hi!

I would like to get some info with the following situation:

I have two different domains, Domain A and Domain B. Both website is offering the same service.

Until now I was running Google Ads on Domain A, but from now on I would like to run the ads on Domain B.

If I paused or stop the ads on Domain A, can I start running ads for Domain B without running into the double serving violation or any other guidelines violation ?

Is it better to create a new Google account or can I just run the ads without any issues?

The only reason why I would like to switch the Ads because with Domian A I already ranking number 1 in the organic search. So I created Domain B (different design and content but same service) and want to rank boosted by google ads.

Any help would be highly appreciated

Yeah you can pause/STOP the ads on domain A and start running ads on domain B without any issues.

As long as you are not running the same ad on different domains with the same services at the same time with the same ad account, no issues!

Thanks for the quick feedback!:)

And any idea about the following situation:

I didn't know about the double serving policy until recently. Before that I created multiple domains (like 3) and hired a Google Ads specialist who created a new Google Ads account and started to run different campaigns for each domain (same service, targeting the same keywords). My goal was to appear on the same page with my ads and scare away a new competitor and just later realised that it is super against Google policy so I stopped all those campaigns.

Luckily I wasn't banned but I'm bit worried if it could have some affect for my future ads..

Interestingly I did't get any warning from Google, even though I used a same gmail profile for both accounts.
Is there any chance that I got some kind of panelty or "shadowban" for this?

Google don't ban for double serving. The punishment for double serving is merging your impression share, meaning that only one of your ads can appear at a time.

Also, double serving is an easy thing to bypass, because, according to the policy, each business entity can have one paid position on SERP. This means that you can start different sites and make them your affiliates, and as long as you have them under a different business and use an affiliate ID in the form or tracked phone number, you're golden.

Thank you for the reply!

Having two ads and bypassing the double serving would be the best naturally. I was also thinking doing it in a similar way but seen many comments how easily google detects this and punishes the users hard.

Beside what you mentioned is there anything else that is necessary to bypass Google?

Just the usuals, a different account ren by a different business entity. Preferably from a different IP.

Thank you so much for the prompt reply it was super helpful :)

Maybe it's a silly question but if Domain B was already registered in a Google Ads account if I just remove it or delete the whole account do i get a fresh start? (and create a new account for Domain B)

Or it might leave some trace in the Goolge Eyes and increase the possibilites to get caught for bypassing the policy?

I'd replace it.

What if there are 2 business entities and Google Ads accounts with different domains (http://www.a.com and http://www.b.com). Website A is live on Google for a long time and Website B, was just launched but uses a user journey that is exactly the same as website A and mentions that it uses website A's services. Can that be considered double serving?

Should be fine, I think. It sounds like an affiliate.
