is it difficult to sell stuff on ebay

ok so i have a few stuff i have lying around that i will like to sell since i buy a lot of stuff on ebay....my question is will it be hard to sell stuff on ebay...do i have to pay even if my stuff isnt sold....also my country cannot receive money via paypal...will this make it impossilbe to sell on ebay?

what do you all think? or should i try amazon or something? thinking bout selling a book for a start...

If you can not accept money via paypal you will find it incredibly hard to sell stuff on ebay. You could always get somebody to sell it for you.

Agreed,, Egay and gaypal are love buddies and if you can't get the accounts its very difficult. What country are you in that you can't get a paypal account? I not really sure about those specifics.

Can you make money off Ebay? Hell yes! I gave my 4 year aged account to my Wife to work at, selling wholesale electronics and we made a minor killing in 2009 , like $4k+ a month but had to pull back a bit from taxation dramas (Egay Dobs you in) . Maybe it's easy with older trusted accounts, I'm not sure, but I'm cranking up a second store thats also destined to be a powerseller account also. For me it's the Tax problem that kills it, besides that, Ebay is the best online $$ earner for me yet. But Its a lot of work, good for a stay at home Mum like my wife, otherwise don't bother unless its your #1 job .

All I can say is treat Ebay like any other business, Its not a get rich quick thing, as nothing is.

I do not think that it is difficult to sell on eBay but I could not verify my account after creating it.

if u list ur items, if ur item is not sold, the listing fees must still be paid. they are not charity, ebay blood suckers that they are lol.

It depends on what type of product you are selling if product is in demand you will get lots of sales there

It is not hard to sell on eBay, just hard to make a decent profit.

If your goal is not on the latter, eBay is a good channel to get rid of unwanted stuff with some residue value.

its hard to get a lot of bids on an item if your just starting out and don't have many reviews on ebay and it will be hard getting the price you want for the item so just hope you have decent amount of reviews etc before you list (i made that mistake already) lol

egay is my #1 job..best way before you sell your stuff.. try to research the market first.. you can using terapeak or hammertap
