Is it allowed to use video with author permission with adsense?

Hey guys,

I have one project where i would like to introduce young youtubers .

They will give me permisson to use their video which they already used on their channel.

Will YouTube allow such cooperation ? I mean can i use adsense there if author is ok with that?

You should be able to - I feel like the CC (Creative Commons) act would apply here - or something.

I'm not an expert.. so don't quote me on that!

the author must specify that you can monetize the video.. otherwise you can't

I cant see a problem with it unless you are simply taking the video and re-uploading it, if you are talking in the video or adding some other elements then its probably fine.
