Hey guys, so I'm brand new to the Marketing and SEO world and I was hoping to get some guidance. I just started a new blogging website as an experiment in February and I have so far been learning and applying White hat SEO basics to drive traffic to the site. I was able to get 400 Unique visitors to my site in the first month using social media promotion and posting 3 high quality articles (each with a short video) everyday. But my actual rankings on google are terrible. I want to start using some Black Hat tactics on a small scale for a limited period of time just to get the training wheels off my site but I'm conflicted. I've read dozens of forum posts on this site and others about CTR manipulation, Traffic bots, buying social media followers and likes and I feel like the jury is pretty split. Some people say this stuff still works, others say "your site will be deindexed" or "google is to smart". So my question is does anyone have firsthand experience using some of these tactics in the way I'm suggesting with any success? If so what are the tools you've used and are there any that are user friendly enough for a newbie like me?

I wouldn't do that if I was serious about my blog. Experiment on a guinea pig, not your own body, is all I'd like to say.

Faking website traffic is technically possible, but doing it effectively long-term without getting caught or penalized is extremely difficult—and often not worth the risk.
