Is is possible to host a site in a server and the webmail in another?

Hi, there are some free hosting companies I am testing and some of them do not allow emails for parked domains. So I just wonder if you could host the site within a free host and configure the email to be working in another free host or payed. For example, domain would be in godaddy, the site hosted on free hosting company 1 and the webmail in free hosting company 2. How do you configure that in godaddy?

Yep, normally you can modify dns for your domain - so A record should point to the ip of your host, and mx record should point to the ip of your mail provider.

In Godaddy just create one A records for say mail.domain.com and point it to remote server by setting up A record and then change MX record for the domain name to this newly created mail.domain.tld
