Because of geo-targetting, is IP rental essentially dead for CL posting?

IP-rental mainly has abuse problems, they are a large proxy provider and well known + well abused for a long time now.
From what I heared in the past months they are no real solution for Craigslist anymore.

And a shared proxy is never good with PVAs (in case you do that).

Either no PVA or private proxies. Shared proxies+PVAs = high risk of losing the PVAs

Justone i feel scared after reading your post man :(.I am still not into CL Business, so i am worried if i can have a nice start or not .What about using PACKET FLIP dude??Is there any solution for this GEO IP problem??

Thanks.

Everyone is talking about geotargeting on CL while I see a large number of ads posted without any geo targeting. It does not fit together ;)

Maybe some of the large proxy providers became "ghost-banned" by Craigslist ?
I also heard about recent troubles when you are from New York.

I can only speak for myself (http://www.seo-proxies.com) and that I've customers ordering more proxies for Craigslist regularly ..

Ghosting is usually based on ad content.
But yes multimedia: it can be very hard to be successful on Craigslist, it's a hard place to start but can also be very rewarding if you learn the bits
Go for it, it's not expensive to start on Craigslist.
You'll have to find out yourself if it is the right place for you, many people make good money and many people give up or outsource.

About IP-rental: they are shared .. it's not even a ghosting problem there .. it's simply the problem that they do not have a useable number non-PVA banned IPs anymore.
And shared proxies are a no-go for PVAs. So it's pretty useless for CL in my opinion.

IPRental is dead for CL. They oversold there network to CL Posters and to make matters worse hyped it with claims of being located in dozens of citys which was simply not the case. They have very few non PVA required IPs, you could go through 50 IPs before finding 1 usable IP, if your lucky. If you use there PVA required IPs then be prepared for 50% or higher ghosting, and likely heavy losses of your PVAs.

Guys what do you all think about PacketFlip's elite proxies :( ??

To Justone: thanks a lot for such a clear reply friend :).I will be starting soon on it as per your suggestion :)

i need fresh proxy for craigslist, contact me by im for details : my im: q_dejavu

I've been manually posting unique-url picture ads with filler text in the services section 3 times a week, once every 48 hours, with IPRental for about a month now, of the twenty five PVAs acquired from craigspva.com (I didn't know of Tommy at that time, or the importance quality PVA creation), 6 are now on hold. The other 18 are posted in major cities all over the country using the geo-location feature of the service, 17 of the 18 post successfully every time (94% success rate or 68% depending on how you look at it), with one consistently ghosting likely due to a content error. I don't think they'll last much longer. I'm on the lookout geo-specified exclusive virgin proxies (if they exist! :P) to solve my problem before the middle of the month.

I am planning on purchasing proxies from them are they still good? if not any suggestions? Packetflip? seo-proxies?

I am currently posting ads on CL with IPRENTAL and have 90% of live ads ratio
this above line tells many thing about this topic

So far many people used CL I created with no problem. I don't use IP rental though.

Pm me for free 10 CL accounts you can check.

I am planning to be a poster my self but it seems to be a pretty high ladder to climb.

So I am just creating those and let someone else JV to use it.

If anyone can spam CL and want to share profit with non PVA CL, let me know.

I think IP rental is horrible, its too overused/abused and fresh IPs become overburdened/slow within seconds of switching to them so that you continually need to keep changing them. It might be worth something if you only need an IP for a few seconds to post something quickly and need the ability to switch to different parts of the country though.
