Is Internet Marketing Over?

The reason the percentage of the successful IM community is so low is because people don't want to do the dirty work, most people take up IM because they were pitched some idea that working from home is easy as 1 2 3, and they give up as soon as they realize that actual brain power and dedication is needed.
I think in every niche there are always less success people compared to failed ones...it's impossible for everyone to have success. For example, people usually only click the top three or five ranks in his keywords in Google...there can be only 3-5 success stories with thousands of competitors in every keyword. Same thing in real life business, you cant expect to make a new fast food restaurant and hoping everyone would come to you while at the same time they still eat at McD or KFC. In every business, competitions are always there. The bigger the potential is, the bigger the competition will be...

The vast majority aren't trying to market anything, they are looking for a shortcut to quick cash. That is why this place is awash with people shouting that the sky is falling.

The ones that are willing to stick it out and actually learn marketing as a trade are the ones that succeed; and the vast majority of them see the internet only as a distribution channel for real marketing efforts.

I saw a billboard yesterday: "Learn to hack in 15 minutes, teachmetohack.com" or something like that. Kinda sums up all the ignorance right there.

Haha like anybody will think marketing is over, ******** the TS.
