I am a beginner trying to understand SEO priorities for a new blog.

Can a well planned internal linking structure and strong content organization help improve rankings and user engagement even with minimal backlinks?

Or is off-page SEO still the dominant factor in 2026?

I had like to know how experienced bloggers balance internal optimization versus link building when starting a fresh site.
