1&1 is givingaway .info for free .. Is it safe to build a good niche on it? It looks spammy and it's rare in google rank

Most people don't take the time to develop real/long-term websites in the .INFO extension. But, that doesn't mean Google looks at it any differently. You can still get a .INFO and develop it, keep everything safe (white hat) and get it ranked in Google. You won't have any problems with a .INFO domain unless you use spammy techniques (in which case it won't matter if its an INFO/COM/ORG..etc)

Info is safe, but go for a .com or a .org where possible.

1&1 I don't use, as I've read / heard so much about how crap they are.

My first site went INSANE and went viral, but 1&1 decided to take the domain away... If you know your site is going to make money, use a more well known register.

Man never use 1&1. I've been seriously considering cancelling my credit card and getting a new one after all the shit 1&1 has pulled. They will charge you for stuff you cancelled a while back. Terrible company.

. Info is safe but I would rather pay full price else where than get fucked by 1&1.
The worst register on this planet!
They WILL find a way to charge you for something or hold your domain hostage.

    Guaranteed!

Had serious issues with 1&1 in the past. They were called something else before 1&1, really cheap hosting back then, their datacenter burned down or something like that and all hell broke loose and they became 1&1 and continued to charge my card and I couldn't get out. Major headache.
