Is IBP best onsite Seo tool

I'm wondering this too. I've found that IBP only compares your site with competitors sites and wants you to make your onsite SEO the same as your competitors.

I do like the IBP rank checker though. Onsite stuff I've used ocassionally but at the moment I just do it without tools.
 
seo power suite is far more superior than IBP when it comes to checking on-site seo, and for a simple and free alternative just use seo doctor addon for firefox
 
The best seo tool is you dude, no software can give you the full picture of what is going on because the people that make them in some cases have little to no idea what on site seo is if you like at their own sites. Unless you want to do a fancy report for a customer, no software can beat what you can do manually.

definitely what we can do ourselves robots cannot but if we don't use robots what do we do of them? :D softwares are developed to automate our work, so that we can utilize our time in other production work rather doing it all manually ;)
 
IBP does nothing but compare your site towards other sites in top 10, it will even go so far that if the top to has bad on page seo it will advice you to the same.

Put a website in it which is ranked solid 1st as your site and let it run, it will tell you the site is all wrong :) .

As proxified i'd go with seo powersuite as for me personal it gives more value for the $
 
IBB also good ,you may also try traffic travis .It seems to be nice in use.

Just an example for the OP - I have two sites that have a score of 18% according to IBP but are on 1st page of Google..So best tool is you, just make sure you keep reading.
 
powersuite is not bad either i like the rank tracker with nice reports and spyglass
