Hey guys anyone one else got a down time on hostwinds at this moment?
My site is hosted at hostwinds and it is fine but your site could be on a different server to mine. Email support buddy.
thanks for the reply, got a ticket from them that the IP has been Ddos'ed.... what a mess waiting for 24 hours to resume.
How long was your account down for due to DDOS?

It's best you submit a support ticket or use the live chat function on the Hostwinds website itself.
Yes as mentioned above, it would be better if you submit ticket to their support team or if it is urgent and if they have chat support, you open chat to them to fix the issue.
One huge disadvantage of shared hosting is that if one of your neighbors on the same IP get DDoSed, you're going down with it. Be smart, upgrade. Either purchase a dedicated IP... and I believe Hostwinds sells them or upgrade to their VPS plans.
