Is hostgator good for a powerful server ?

Hello,

I know they are good for shared hosting, but I'm looking for a powerful dedi server, are they good ? I'm using them for 2 months alredy, with 4 gb ram but the site is going down everyday and I have to reboot it every day, I'm paying $220 for it /month, with this money, do u think there are better servers like 24 gb ram etc, do you recommend any other host that are good and also have good support.I must admit hostgator support is excellence, but I'm looking excellence server aswell.

liquid web dual core servers with 16 GB DDR3 is what you should buy and that will stay with you for at least 6 months if your sites grow naturally

I also have 220$ server and yes i dont think it must be 220$ but the belief that my sites are safe there and also the addons they have they dont show them up but that atually counts in those 220$

but overall servers are not good.

I have not understood how to pay at liquidweb in advance, like they say send money to some email id and then it will be deducted monthly but i dont get the reliability factor of such payment model

I was on there shared hosting and they did a good job little or no down time. so i would say good.
i recommend GODADDY.com.

never had any problems with them, highly recommend them, have many sites on their hosting

hostgator worked pretty well for me

What the main issue for the down after they analyze? Ram issue or disk read speed or CPU? HG network is good but not try their dedicated server b4 as their package include support fee.

450 GB 15K SAS x2
1Gbps 100TB transfer with 500USD++/month not include technical support.

For 220 budget you can get higher ram at 24MB but I don't think they include tech support, so you must configure everything to protect the server, else $25-40/h support will be charge. Check for free KVM so you can do it yourself if anything happen like kernal fix.
