Is Hostgator Down?

no problem for me. But the sites are running bloody slow. Trying to edit my wordpress posts is hell

its about time.. I hear to many people recommend them..anyone gets suggested often has problems

They're still up when I checked not too long ago. It's a very rare occurrence; I'm sure they'll fix it soon.

I have had trouble accessing my sites, they are loading very slowly or i get an internal server error, I am hoping its just some problems with their servers and things will get sorted soon.

Me too.

I now have 2 blogs down. Hostgator these few days having very slow access. No matter how many time I refresh.

1 blog when I try to post a new post, I having error as it takes like forever to load. The last time I try to post, suddenly all my blog posts are gone!! There are more than 1000 posts in my blog and now not even 1 post left.

The other blog now having Error establishing a database connection. Even I recreate the wp-config.php file and insert all the info still same problem.

I have submitted ticket to hostgator now and still pending for their reply.

i suggest you contact their live support. i'm still glad my site is still up

Thanks for your suggestion.

I just do a live chat with hostgator support. They managed to solve my 2 blogs issues in second.

I do ask for the root cause and they said is the wordpress post updates sometime can cause issues.

However, accessing to my blogs still slow. I do ask the support about this and he said is ok as he run the loading test from his side.

Anyway, my 2 blogs are up back and running now.
