Is hostgator down now?

Fuck, HostGator is really dropping the ball this year... All my sites are down as well.
 
I think they are moving server?
I got an email from HG last week telling that the move of server would affect my sites and there would be server down in certain period.
 
Yes my PPD site is also down and i got some nice earnings in the last days -.-

Hope they fix it soon

its not this - what you're referring to is different. they moved mine recently too. My VPS is down though. sigh. Am i right in saying moving to a CDN would prevent things like this?
 
mine are down as well. theres been a few problems with them recently since they migrated my accounts. time to think about moving i guess.
 
The downtime knocked my shipping department offline, which caused us a few headaches here on my end but everything seems to be back up to speed now.

Who would you move to? I have been considering yet another migration myself. I have a nice reseller package but I also need to diversify my ips. Which hosting would you suggest aside from the gator?

I am on the same boat. After the migration i am having problem with my sites, sometimes database error and sometimes sites not loading. Support isn't co-operative at al and suggesting me to go for a dedicated server when i dont it. I guess time for me to move on to new hosting.
 
Man...so sick of this...losing a lot of $ because of this. Also not too sure how google's ranking algo handles stuff like this if sites are down a few times a month. STILL DOWN!!! :-(
 
I'm starting to get worried about data loss if this was a breach of security.
 
Same with some of our sites ..grrrrrrrr Feels like bursting with anger ..
 
They posted a tweet and quickly removed it about making sure we have backups of our data. It looked like they were trying to sell a service. Now my dedicated server is down as well. Their lines are busy, their chat does not work and they are not responding to tweets. This is starting to worry me. Ever since they moved to Provo things have changed with them.

Also, just a suggestion here. You can use WooServers VPS's to host your website. Get Hide MY Ass's VPN service (it's only $11) and you can host multiple websites and as long as you pay your bill, no downtime.
 
Have two VPS's there, one is up other down
