Are they pretty laid back when it comes to mailing? I'm in need of a good host right now, anyone have any recommendations?
They are laid back all together, the support is rubbish, I emailed the guy about a problem, then got a reply saying it was the domain registar, so I emailed them and they said it was the host, emailed the host back and still have got no reply, and that was 2 days ago.
I have now moved hosts, you get what you pay for, $2.99 for hosting, expect terrible service! Your better paying a bit more and getting quality service.

I agree 100% - hostmywarez is big shite even though this guy plyrjon or something raves about it because its probably his.
Bottom line. it is not worth your time.
Never mind the $2.99 but the damn time you wait for your site to be up and working is priceless.

Hosted one of my warez websites with them. Didn't get back to it for a while. Paid for the second month of hosting with them, tried to access my website - it says, my account is suspended.
Contacted them, of course. However, I was surprised to see that as I didn't get any email from them abt my website, that it will be suspended or whatever. The only thing there is autoblogged script. Probably, it causes some overload (?) or not
Anyway, I don't know that as they never contacted me or gave me any warning. Simply boooooom and it is suspended.
Will try to find out what happened.
With this in mind, I'm happy that it wasn't an important website for me; 2) that I do not host my other domains with them.
Still need _reliable_ offshore hosting)

Godaddy suspended few mine domains, with something like this:
"Your name servers are marked as fraud/spam"
I haven't sent any spams/anything, I had one tv show site, site about farmville hacks and similar.

That has nothing to do with hosting, only domain registration. And for crying out loud, stop going with GoDaddy. They are the worst company to register your domains with.

Firstly, you have NO RIGHTS TO CALL ME IDIOT (post reported).
Secondly, I haven't had any hacking domains, only one watch tv show domain and one about farmville bot (not hacker, bot).
I also know what I received from godaddy, and I also know that I currently have tons of similar domains, like many other people, but with other hosting and they work great.
Also, hostmywarez is slow as shit, and have tons of problems with stability.
I would only recommend hostmywarez to my biggest enemy.

okay well I have talked to support on tickets and through msn.
They say they rent dedicated servers from urgent vps.
As far as that being true or just simply buying it on the spot and reselling it I am not to sure...
judging from the setup time I want to say its their own servers as setup time takes 15 mins on urgentvps while they say 24-48 hours and it indeed is that.
as far the locations...they are offshore as they say. You are basically getting a server from urgent vps managed through hmw
if you see urgent vps reviews are great so...
its always good to hear about dick heads getting suspended....at least I know someone is watching out.
Their server loads are "faster then others" as they state...
Basically I would say take a look at a urgent vps and if you like the idea...then whats what your looking at .
I could see issues with the name servers as the domain name itself is pretty suspicious... You should have sprung the extra money to get private name servers instead of using the ones they gave you....
