Is HideMyAss[dot]com reliable?

I use hidemyass a lot, but not for anything confidential or important. It's a layer of protection and I will often use it for downloading products from sites I find here on BHW. It's a very public proxy and I certainly would not use it for anything that was proprietary. That said, that site (like ipchicken) sticks in my mind, so I use it all the time.

I'd use something else to post on CL, I'm sure their proxies have been used and abused and probably banned by now. you're better off buying some good proxies or using dial up or dsl for new ip's

I use HMAs VPN and it's incredible. I also subscribed to their proxy lists daily, which gives me about 100 good scrapebox proxies every single day which is pretty sweet.
please could you kindly help me with HMA VPN login?? I will be grateful brother

Have you bought them if you are having problem with the login call their customer support for solving the problem.

I use HMA's VPN Pro and it gets the job done for me.
The problem with HideMyAss is that it's prob one of the most well-known proxies, period. Almost every filter worth a damn blocks it. Best way to go is to sign up for a daily newsletter sent to your email (search on Google Groups - there are tons of proxy-related groups there). My high school uses a small filtering company called Twotrees that usually blocks proxies 2-3 hours after I first access it. I used to register ten or so .TK domains for free every day and point them to a free proxy host and it worked for a while until they blocked the entire TLD!
