It VPN services , you can use anyother country IPs with this software .
 
it does great job for certain types of activities, but for fb/google/youtube.. it is useless as all its IPs are overused at those services..
 
Good for scraping article directories. Also works great for certain submission softwares. I use it as a backup for anytime my other proxy services might have issues. It's cheap enough to just always have on hand. But you can forget about using for Facebook/Twitter/YouTube/Google .... and quite honestly, that's not what the service is for.
 
You wont be able to create working PPC accounts using HMA at either Adwords, Bing, Facebook, since most of their IP's are spammed to death.
 
HideMyAss is not so bad, it makes you very slow sometimes but overall 70/100 marks to HMA
 
Any alternatives to HMA that have many ip from different location in USA? You need many different location to avoid detection from FB. It is getting harder nowadays
 
Thamks guys. Tells me all I need to know. As the Brits would say "horses for courses" ... works well for what is suited to and not at all for the rest.
 
I have been using Hide My Ass for a while (also xRumer purposes), but I do digg this software as vpn. I got caught once I used it to submit links to websites.
So you can use the HMA for personal use...
 
IMHO, HMA is totally worthless -_- But so are maximum VPN/Proxys. Which is why it is always awesome to have a paid VPN :)
 
I like using HMA for jumping on different linkedin accounts for spamming ;)
 
its good for article directories and article submitters. however it wont work with the google, facebook and other social networking sites. Also honestly its not whats its designed for.
 
VPN is not always safe and good for BlackHat SEO activities. You need to buy Dedicated Elite Premium Proxies for the best results.
 
i use HMA for checking CPA offer landingpages that only show in specific countries.
 
You can use Tor browser as a free option to get random IP, depending on what you need it could work. I'm using HMA all the time, mostly for youtube, not seeing issues for what i do (mass uploading)
 
eventhough it takes too much time to load a webpage using HMA, but it never fail to open blocked site on my office.
 
Works great for anything but marketing. Just my opinion. I use it when I want to surf the web in public locations like coffee shops.
