is having your own private blog network really this expensive?

PR update is late as of now if you go with what has normally happened..so i would wait to get the network going ..
Let Big Gee update the latest PR and then go for it ..

Best of luck

regards,
ToG

you can get hosting for as little as $1 a month
and with coupons
you can buy domains for 99 cents

and when renewing use coupons

This is the cheap part of having your own blog farm

I wouldnt trust $2 hosting sorry, been there done that. Most of the time iv noticed my sites have been down with these cheap hosts. Or customer support isnt there. Its always something. I need my sites to be up and $2 hosting just doesnt cut it.

Completely agree, I started a blog network with these cheap hosts thinking it would be great, but I ended up with downtime and poor customer service.

Hey dont you guys think that using the same adsense account on all blogs will give you away to google?? .. there are folks here suggesting getting revenue from the blogs. Its a good idea but.....

If you're interested in building your own private blog network then you might wanna check this.

I'm really interested in how you're getting good domains for your network @ 10.00 each?

No one is getting PR6 domains for $10. It's like when someone says they can bench 200 pounds and everyone else is like oh yeah well I can bench press 500 pounds. No you can't.

I've seen some high PR domains go for a very low amount but they had no backlinks and they were going to be dropped to PR0 on the next update and a link from them wouldn't really do anything.

Really depends on your niches you are after mostly. You don't have to go 100 authority domains to do well on rankings. I believe in making"network(s)" not just one. I have some smaller networks I've created on my own with as little as 10 domains. All of them have videos and content about the "niche" I'm after. I rank first page for just about every key phrase I go after with it. The niche I would say is medium/hard. I purchased the domains my self new and then just built up the citation and trust flow to them commenting on high pr blogs with good citation and trust flow. I think that is way more important than just pr. In a few weeks I was able to have a useable network for linking my niche, getting high rankings and the most important part.. making sales.

well, I can do bench press with 300 pounds and I can find pr6 for $10 but it takes shit load of time + experience + luck

Seoguy99 is one hell of a professional guy and he knows what he's doing.

btw, Dropped Domain will cost $10 + your time.
Aged domains with good link profile will cost no less than $200 for a pr3 and above.
ips - $2/3/4 depending on what you opt for.

There is no difference between aged domain and dropped domain. Dropped domains are by definition aged since someone had them already.

The only PR6 domains I've seen for $10 are ones with no authority.

Everyone who says they can buy pr4-6 domains for 10$ is lying. there is no method to do that. Also, the most expensive part of a blog network is buying good domains. The rest is just peanuts.

Edit: Of course these pr4-6 domains could be fake, then they are just 10$ - Sor to correct myself, a guy who bought a pr4 - 6 domain for 10$ is either lying or bought a fake.

oh my god there is so much misinformation in this thread, it's insane. Some people absolutely have no idea what they're talking about. Starting with the person above me, and also approx. 75% of the posts on the front page.

But feel free to keep making up random lies and spewing them out, it keeps the competition confused.
