So I've been wondering about this for a while now and before making any changes and mess up the (already low) revenue on my channel, I thought I should ask you guys' opinion on this.
Is having all ad formats enabled really bring the most revenue as people say in those youtube tips videos? Is this really the best general setting for all the channels? Because channels are different, niches are different, some channels have most of their audience from the US (not my case), others from countries with very low CPMs, etc. Also, for my channel 80% of the playback is done on mobile, I wonder if some ad types are more suitable for audience that watch your content on mobile rather than PC.
And what if I disable "interest based ads"? This way the viewer will no longer see personalized ads based on it's interests. So if my viewers interests is gaming and I disable interest based ads, maybe instead of an ad about a game he'll be shown something about finance or medical which should bring more revenue. Or am I totally wrong on this? haha
