No need to complicate things. Guest posting is and will continue to be a whitehat linkbuilding technique. Period!

Even large anf authoritative websites like Forbes and Entrepreneur still accept guest posting. As long as the website has decent metrics and receives some traffic, you should be safe.

Just make sure to diversify your anchor texts as well as the landing page url (preferably, 70% to the homepage and 30% to inner pages).

Guest Posting is normal and a great way to rank your websites. Most famous news marketing websites are built on guest posts and they rank highly.
As long as the content is not spun, is unique and relevant to your niche, then guest posting is nothing but positive.

I actively pursue guest posting possibilities 9 to 5.
 
Guest post is safe in relevant sites. If site is not relevant it will affect your ranking. Also check the quality of sites which you want to submit or write articles.

You may want to take a look at Google webmaster guidelines:

Any links intended to manipulate PageRank or a site's ranking in Google search results may be considered part of a link scheme and a violation of Google’s Webmaster Guidelines. This includes any behavior that manipulates links to your site or outgoing links from your site.

So no, guest posting its NOT "whitehat linkbuilding technique. Period!". Its as blackhat as PBNs. Just harder for Google to catch you.
 
It is safe in case you know how to do it.

I have 4 topics to consider:
1) How many articles have published on a particular website?
2) Is the link(s) do-follow or no-follow?
3) Is there a mark - sponsored, guest post, write for us, etc?
4) How authoritative is the website where you put content?
 
Make sure that you are posting on sites that can send you referral traffic. Relevance, link juice and user behavior will benefit you way more than randomly posting on a "strong" domain.

it depends on your site if your guest post site is look spamm then i suggest avoid that but if youbwant quality just buy the high quality content post like forbes or inc

It mainly depends on two things: the quality of the content and the quality of the site your post is published on. Buying crappy content and publishing it for SEO reasons on shady websites can hurt your SEO. So, as per my experience, buying guest posts may not be your best option - there are endless other possibilities to improve your search rankings.
 
I think this is kinda depends on what you are trying to achieve out of this - it can be used either blackhat or whitehat way. Whitehat = make sure everything is good and proper, eg good content used, good guidelines imposed, and site with good metrics, etc. Blackhat way = more to spam with the goal of speed and volume, or churn and burn, the latest method.

And this is the best way to get your website penalized/spend money for links that do shit. If the website openly advertise their guest posting opportunities its a BAD choice. Case in point. Sstart typing "tgdaily" ...
