Keep seeing mixed opinions - some says its useless now , others getting results from it for those still doing it, is it actually working or just slower/ harder than before? and is it "guest posting" thats dead or just spammy mass version of it ,
curious what ppl are seeing in practice, not just theory.

as far as my experience goes guest blogging is not yet totally dead though the mass posting method has definitely seen its glory days. however a few good placements on some crediblle websites can certainly drive traffic to ur site, promote ur brand name nd even offer some SEO benefits.

I don’t think guest posting is dead; I think the approach has changed. Mass publishing on unrelated or low-quality sites is much harder to justify today, but relevant placements on genuine websites can still be useful.

For me, the biggest factors are relevance, content quality, the site’s actual audience, and whether the link makes sense in context. I’d focus more on the quality and purpose of each placement rather than trying to build a large number of links.

I don’t think guest posting is dead, but the quality of the site matters much more now. I’d focus on niche relevance and real traffic rather than publishing on random sites just for backlinks.
