Recently I've heard that Guest Posting is a White Hat technique. But there's also another problem I've heard that guest posting isn't necessarily White Hat since recently there are some sort of... arranged guest posting and it's really White Hat... It's more like Grey Hat. I also used to read an article in which Google replied about this WHite hat guest posting matter (sorry I don't remember the exact link).

Guest Posting is still working. There are lot of things to look at before getting links. Blog should have good PA,DA, CF, TF, Quality backlinks from High authority sites and mainly traffic.
Just avoid blog which are getting 0 traffic. Some sellers here providing non traffic guest post site links. It may give ranking but not traffic.

Scrape all the blog websites that you need to post in .

Guest posting is technically a black-hat technique (pun), since you're doing it with the sole purpose of manipulating your rankings.
 
You just have to be selective. You want to try and get posts on real sites not sites that are just made for guest posts.

It's close to whitehat if the sites are real - in that the links are fairly natural looking, but it's not totally black hat as this type of link building doing is still against googles tos.
 
Guest posts Play an important role in IM field. It's still valuable if we do it in right manner. Based on the requirements we can get quality blogs by outreaching manually.

Yes, guest posting works always, but it needs care and attention on outreaching it related to the niche and also check with various site statistics like DA, PA etc., to know about the site quality.
 
It is very hard to find niche related sites to guest post and post your links. This of this, why do I let my competitor over-rank me?
