Hey

I am thinking about to use a mobile redirect script on my websites. When i did that the last time some of my domains got a google cloaking penalty with a manual spam report. Now i have a solution, that will only redirect real users to my affiliate offer and bots or spiders will get to my normal website.

I am just not sure if google usually uses there bots or if there is a real person controlling that.

Hope you get my point. ;-)

Are you asking if they use bots for checking manual spam reports or for detecting cloaking?

All paid networks (including Google of course) use the following to detect your lander:
1. bots & crawlers.
2. 3rd party scanners
3. manual reviews

no.1 and 2 are very common, you just need enough data to cover all of their footprints, ips etc.

no.3 is not so common, and if it happens, it means they really suspect you or got some solid info you're cloaking (competitors will usually rat on you). So, overcoming no.3 is very hard if you lack the data & info.

*Note that all the above is applied not only to paid networks, but also to the major search engines like: Google, Bing etc
