What happend to me today...

I've started a micro niche blog based on wordpress I've made a static article-page linking to other 4-5 article pages and then some on page seo (article and link optimization). Yesterday I've checked the main keyword and I was the last position on page 3. then I've checked "site:mysite.com" to see how many pages found google (yesterday was 4). Also ive searched for one longtail keyword and I was on page 2...

and NOW i've made same searches and wtf 12 pages indexed but WRONG pages I mean... google indexed my privacy policy, terms and aggr and attachaments (example: link to picture not to the page /pictures) pages and wtf when Ive made a search for the main keyword ive found Terms of Aggremeant on page 4 (I have keyword in title) and the main website keyword.com on page 9

The same with /pictures when I searched for keyword pictures Ive was on page 2 with keyword.com/pictures and now Im on page 3 with a link to image (i think its an attachament page, you know wordpress automaticaly makes one post for each image :() and on page 7 with keyword.com/pictures

The strange thing is google has indexed wrong some pages with wrong description and titles (Im reffering to the image attachament because it has the title like "keyword-pictures-1" and that is what appears on title in serps and the description is the footer links :o)

I am doing something wrong?

Thanks a lot for your time.

Use
Code:
rel="nofollow"
to those pages and add the meta noindex no archive tag.

Its not google fault, Within your page off google indexing if you don't want to share those page.

I want to deliever to google the most valuable pages from my content.

On the Wordpress SEO plugin from Yoast Ive made these changes
Meta robots index: noindex
Meta robots follow: nofollow

Should be ok, right?

Thank you

The problem persists... the same fucking shit strange problem :|

I don't think it. From others searching engine Google is the best. Google is the best valuable page.

The solution is very simple, just add to robots.txt all the pages you don't want google to index. Be very wary of having code like "Meta robots index: noindex
"! There's risk your homepage will get dexindexed. I'd need to seethe robots.txt file generate by the plugin to properly diagnose this, but the most straightforward way to generate a robots.txt is via webmaster tools.

Bear in mind you won't see any changes overnight, depending on the rate your site is being crawled, it can take up to a few weeks for google to properly correct how you want it indexed.
