Google plus is good for professional work than entertainment social network sites like Facebook,twitter etc but still google plus having enough visitors monthly so you can drive traffic to your website by sharing professional pictures and information properly.

Google Plus is not dead. Sharing in Google plus is much important in SEO.
 
I used to rank G+ pages with gsa blast. Even i could rank it's not worth.

FB fan pages are far better. For me it's always dead :) .

The difference between google plus and other social networking sites is allowing more transparency in who you share with and how you interact. It may reduce your traffic but can't say it dead
 
Google plus is an indeed good helper in terms of brand marketing. It has the capability of enabling businesses to connect with customers via organic search, Google+, or on mobile devices, and ultimately puts businesses in charge of their brand especially for local businesses.

These links are getting indexed in a week. You can try for building your profile.

I'd guess a LOT of those are bots and SEO people gaming the system... IMHO Google Plus would have been dead years ago if Google weren't insistent on keeping it alive and promoting it. Not to mention that we SEO folks keep it alive with all the spamming we do.
