I play around a bit in adult niches. I observe there that the top ranking pages usually are very aggressive with their anchors. Far more aggressive than in most other niches I know.

There are no google adwords in adult niches. That means G makes no money here. That made me wonder if google runs its spam filters less often here simply because they dont care. That means classic black hat strategies work better in those niches.

Any thoughts?

Yeah you're correct. Google is strict with some niche and in those niche, you will find mostly whitehat authority sites and in some niche, you will come to see serp filled up with churn and burn based sites only.

I don't know so much about oblivious but they do tend to have their star niches that they hammer harder than others, I have found that it is possible to fly close to the sun in acceptability terms on less popular niches.

google no every think and ever think
we do , is all databased .

no niche is more important to any other niches
all google cares they get paid that it, there no secret
niches on the net , there low comp and heigh traffic but that it.

there nothink in my opionion google dont no about .

Google has no ability to control poperality on niches and does not punish hi or low popularity on niches
but it true to say that so niches make more money then other niches but there just as important as any other niche.

This is clearly not possible, to do what you suggest google would need to have enough processing resources to administer the entire web. Effectively it would have another computer set up of equivalent size and computing power as the total of every computer and server on the planet. Not likely.

They then have to process all of this information so increase that size again massively. It is possible that they Hoover up information like a vacuum sooking up sand but it still has to be processed. Yes they have an algorithm, but this algorithm has to be processed somewhere that requires computing power. It is not logical for them to be able to process all that information at once, even on a roll out process hitting one niche at a time it would still take forever.

They have manual teams but again how many sites exist on the web, how many users going about their normal business versus how many blackhatters? The Labour requirements for this task would be immense.

Google does what any business does. They set a budget, they prioritise their business objectives versus losses and target accordingly. Therefore payday loans etc which are high margin niches are set as a priority. The obscure spiritual practices of the tallywack endigenous tribe not so much.

Conclusion there are niches which are a red rag to a bull, and niches which to be honest are not worth the time and resources, for the return. Shit even the NSA does not know everything, they may Hoover up every bit of information in existence but they still need to process it. This is done by prioritising. You are not on their radar therefore they may hold info on you but it is gathering dust. Until such times as you become a priority and then they are all over you like a dose of the clap.

You correct. Someone from Google confirmed this a couple of years ago, or so. Don't remember who exactly. It was after google was questioned by senate or irs or something like that.

Possible, you never know what they are upto. But yes, niches that carry high value keywords for adwords will have more scrutiny.

why does google invest the ressources to clear the porn niche if they dont make any money with it?

What do you mean "clear the porn niche?" Google crawls everything and indexes most things. Porn was around way before Google. Google has no interest in policing the Internet. It also knows that there are plenty of people using its SE for porn searches.

You BHW people need to stop being so self centered and take a step back and look at it from their point of view.

Don't want to out my niche, but they have not caught onto the rusty BMX for pot dealers for sale niche. It's very big in Liverpool.

crawling and indexing yes. The question is why google should invest the extra-ressources necessary to run sophisticated spam filters in those niches.

You BHW people need to stop being so self centered and take a step back and look at it from their point of view.

That is exactly what I am pointing at.

I'm trying to understand what you mean.

Porn sites are given manual action, which means there are human reviewers looking at the sites. They get the "pure spam" and "thin content" action too, just like any other site. They also have specific filters for them -- safe search.

So that is why the serps are riddled with one page fake "tube-sites" that are basically circlejerks sites or fake TGP sites with only front images and maybe some text?

(ohw i miss my old days of porn when it was easy to sell $1- trial subscriptions :( )
