In the last 24 hours the ranking for one of my sites for my main key phrase has gone crazy.
As of this minute the ranking are as follows:

1. Computer 1 in Firefox: Rank 3
2. Computer 1 in Safari: Rank 39
3. Computer 2 in Firefox: Rank 46
4 Computer 2 in IE: Rank 39

I'm not logged into any Google accounts and have cleared all caches in all browsers.
I am not doing any back linking either. Just testing a small amount of fake traffic using General Lee's bot.

WTF ???????

Don't check your ranks every damn second on multiple computers or you'll continue to mind fuck yourself as you are doing right now. Google always does random ass updates daily and they have mentioned that they were conveniently doing a Panda refresh or something like that during the holiday week.

So just sit back and chill bro.

Yeah I know about the updates. I just think it's weird that I am getting totally different results at the exact same moment on different computers/browsers. Never seen that before.

Definitely mind f$%ked though. lol

Weird ass things happen all the time. There have been times I've seen Google give totally different URLs and meta descriptions on different computers.

I just stare it for a few seconds in bewilderment and then say "ah fuck it."

Good attitude. I'll try that approach. lol

btw, I don't normally check rankings across multiple comps like that. I just happened to be checking and had to swap computers and start again. So then I checked further and saw the differences.

Try checking through a webproxy incase you still have cookies on your browser.

Don't worry about defending yourself man, we've all been SERP whores before (and a lot of people still are). I've come to the point where I like to rarely check them since high ranks are correlated with making tons of cash. So if I see that my affiliate accounts are being flooded with paper, I don't really give a damn about checking the SERPs. I have better things to do such as eating pizza and hitting on my hot neighbor while she has Thanksgiving lunch with her family.

I hope I can get to that point soon. Doing overtime at the moment trying to learn as much as possible.
I'm in Australia and it's 2pm on Friday so time for beer. Good luck with the hotty!

you may always use quick track with serpfox, you can track up to 10 kws for free and they are most accurate as it gets.

But to answer your real question. Google has been partying like it's '99 since they started. SO YES... They are drunk.
My sites dropped after 1 month of announcing the disavow tool. I am watching them closely now... Didn't use the tool
but it seems some of the links got penalized by Google already..

I like the "hitting neighbor next door during holiday when she with her family" part, would you tell me more? How to get approach, phone number, there's not many chances I guess, or just make up a story step to her door and asking for help... looking for your missing cat/dog... ect. Is she hot? Is she easy to hang out with? Prove please

Hitting on a girl when she is having lunch with her family seems like a really bad idea to me :)

When I first started I was checking my stats, I must have been doing it like 50 times a day. I still sometimes check my affiliate stats that many times, but I see $$$ not SERPS!!! :)
