I just set up a Link Pyramid for my keyword. Yesterday I did a scrapebox blast to my 2 Tier Pyramid and got 3,000 blog comments accepted. Before, I was at position #9. Now I have dropped to position #10 in like 8 hours. Google Dancing right now or something else? I also have done some other stuff, forum profiles, social bookmarks, etc. which really moved me up in the rankings (weeks and weeks ago).

Hmm. Just checked some rankings of mine, and some are down.
Curious that two threads have been opened here about this in the last few minutes.
Maybe another panda roll out, or just a dance.

I think I'll sleep on it.

Yeah, I would say that it is. Last night my site went from the first page of google for 6 different pages and now bam, not even on the radar.

Same here, did a small amount of offsite SEO for a few niche sites of mine.

This morning they were all on first page spot 3, now they are back on page 2 and 3. I hate getting excited over it and then watching it drop back after less than a day. :zx11pisse

I have several sites down on keywords right now.
Of course none of them could be dancing up!

How long does she dance for?

I wish we knew .. had a site of mine drop off the radar completely. Was page 3 after tweaking onpage SEO to the max - now its disappeared. I have read that often when this happens (you disappear completely), that you come back higher in the serps - anyone know what sort of timeframe we're talking about here (ie. from when you disappear to when you bounce back)?

yeah, i had 10 blog posts ranking in position 1-4. Now EVERYTHING is gone.. Still indexed in google though (site: check)... Strange that my old competitors in the serps are not dancing at all. Hope this will be over soon.

From what I have seen 2 weeks seems normal, but it can take longer.

This is the exact same situation that I am in. I just want to get back on the first page so the money comes back in :(

That is a fair comment, I noticed this as well, seems to be black hat folks being hit, I susspect Goggle are rolling up some form of change that is impacting us, give it a few weeks and I am sure either someone will work it out or it will settle.

How that can be possible? maybe is an major update, we site is dancing like crazy..:) and i'm blasting like crazy :)

Yeah, this is my second time one of my sites has been hit.
My longtails are nowhere to be found. Main KW's on page 3-4.

God I hate G. Luckily I'm diversified.

1. Google does updates (major or minor) which may affect your rankings.
2. Google may have decided to increase or decrease your rankings depending on your level of trust.
3. Google may have spotted some good links pointing to your site which in turn increases your rankings.
4 Google could be in process of increasing or decreasing your rank and due to the fact that they have lots of servers your position could be all over the place.

Google Dance was eliminated in 2003.

Dude I dance like crazy every single day. I rarely stay in one spot.
