Is Google corrupted???

I have a website let's say about Optics and it's lokoptics.com and a big optic firm is named Lodoptics.com when I want to do search for my website Google suggest me Lodoptics.com. And when I don't use google suggestions while searching and I put "Lok optics" on the search as I reach the second page Google start showing my brand campetition in the search "Lod optics" and only websites related to them. Is this normal? Is Google corrupted? BTW this brand got something like 40 websites like NYlodoptics.com LAlodoptics.com njlodoptics.com xlodoptics.com... Can anyone explain to me what's happening?

Ofcourse not. Google will suggest their site since its has more authority than your site(Which I guess, is new) and its been there for long for their main keyword. Once your site is big enough then Google won't suggest their site for the term "lokooptics" That's the reason you should get a unique domain name.

as of now your domain is brand new and so close in spelling to that other brand, that google thinks you are probably mispelling their brand and thats why it suggests them

Google think your site name is a misspelled phrase of that big brand. The similar case is you type "united statas" and search engine suggest results for "united states"

No, Google is corrupted. Those damn spell checkers are always trying to fuck people over. Haven't you seen the commercials? They actually have guys that use ESP to predict what you're going to type and then show results in real-time, as well as provide spelling correction suggestions. It's only a matter of time before those guys realize they can promote their own stuff even if the search term isn't remotely close to it.
