Is Google +1 Going To Effect Serp ?

It would affect auto blogs alot which are appearing in search engines.
 
You can guarantee there is going to be something in place to greatly limit the ability to game this and personally, I bet it has minimal impact on SERPs. Otherwise they'd be moving backwards in spam control.
 
one of my friends have a big botnet. i told him we can make a huge money , he pushed all his zombies to 1+ my site and the bad news is that still nothing effected and my site is still @page 23 :(
its impossible they detect anything because he did it completely natural. maybe 1+ really don't effect Serp ??..
 
I think people here have totally misunderstood Google +1, it is a social sharing tool! From what i understand the way it works is if you +1 a site your ‘friends' (Google contacts) benefit from your recommendations by having those sites you recommended' appear above others. It also means Google will prioritise those sites you clicked +1 for you when you search for the same terms.

It does not have a global impact, it does not mean they prioritise all sites by the number of+1 click, it means your friends get to see your suggestions. The funny part? Google has never really got the social thing down, meaning; the impact of this is minimal. I think we can all safely ignore it for now until Google makes a bigger impact on the social networking scene.

On a related note! As a direct result of the social networking changes Google has made, twitter and facebook are having an impact, your efforts will be better placed in these areas in my opinion.

so it means that google is going closer to user so serps will be more personalized. For google it does not matter if it gets content from crawling websites or based on user +1 votes. The key to their business are advertisements as usual. G with gmail, google.com , docs and recently google plus just want to have bigger piece of internet cake. Other thing is that user votes will help in better integration of google code to private websites, every such +1 button is more data to analyze by g.
 
From what I gather from it, the +1's are supposed to appear for your friends inside your circles. So that if you searched for "widget A", and +1'd a page, your friend could go into Google and also search for "widget A" and see you +1'd a page and so it acts like a recommendation for your friend.

The theory goes that one tends to keep friends of similar interests and mindsets
 
How it will effect SERP's is difficult to say at this stage. But if you are running a commercial business, then would I add it asap.

Why?
It will give you a head-start compared to your competitor. So if/when g. are done testing, then will you already have a lot of + on your site.

Another thing is that it most likely will increase the "user trust" on your site, and this might increase your conversion rate.
 
I dont think they want to put SERP results in users hands, so I would say no from what I understand
 
Yes, It effect SERP's..As Google give positive points for more +1's as that is there own product..and not including points for serp of there own product?? you can try,...create 2 pages and ask for +1 to around 10-100 of your firends over internet..and not to touch one..and on next update you see when you are on 1st page and have like 80+ and other sites on 1st page will have like 10-20 individually, that will give you more traffic..as people will or want to visit your site must as it have more +1 then others..??Make sense?!!!I already done test and that is why I am telling..Client site had like 20 pages and 0+ all pages were on 1st and 2nd page but after I got it like 10-30 + for each he noticed little more increase in traffic from regular..How why all stuff not matter much..Try test and see...!!!

Thats True and Popularity increases of the website arround their local Area and May be in SERP's of that country
