Is going "Green" really worth it?

Well me personally, I don't really care about going "green" unless that is... me having more 100s

Also... If going green means making my computer is going to run faster and better.. then yeah..

Other than that I could care less...

BUT If you own and operate a business that has to deal with the local people, then go green or at least act like you do! Businesses that go "Green" almost always get more rep (warning: this tip could get you more hits to your local advertising and such)

Business wise, my company uses green hosting (Hostgator buy wind credits for example) for all our clients, and to be honest I couldnt tell you if it has a noticeable effect on sales - but that isn't the reason you should go green anyway. If you care about the environment for future generations. Much like giving to charity, no need to shout about going green - just do it and feel better about doing some good for the rest of the world.

Total scam used as an excuse for charlatans such as Al Gore, corporations like GE and countries to extort money from people and businesses that actually produce stuff and work hard. It's also an opportunity for lots of individuals who are completely empty in every other aspect of their life to feel superior to others.

Ever since I was in the third grade when the pushed the global warming stuff down my throat I believed it was total garbage. Oh wait they slyly changed it to "climate change" a year or two to account for any change in the weather.

I think GW is a scheme to generate revenue to be honest (carbon tax), based on the research i have done anyway, i beleive global warming is happening but i think its natural. But i also agree with the other side in that people need to start looking after this planet a lot more, we should be living in balance with earth but we are raping it.

@masteraffmarket, i agree with some of what you are saying but i find your comments a little ignorant too, human caused climate change is a cock and bull media fiction with an agenda, just like the swine flu was. The agenda is power, fear, money, control (the usual). The mainstream media are such bullshitters as can be proven time and time again, they consistently throw in a small amount of truth with a generous helping of propaganda.i would try to balance out ingestion of mainstream media stories with alternative news, listen to both sides then form an opinion, you only ever get one side of the story from the big news outlets.

I dont understand why people dont beleive that the media propagandise stories, propaganda has existed as long as human beings have, yet most people refuse to beleive there is propaganda in today's society. You really only have to dig a little to see the corruption.
